The actual show was a little disappointing, not worth the $16 ticket. I was expecting something more like the Creme de la Chrome show in Denver
which has rods, customs, supercars, imports, and racecars. This was just rods as the name would imply. So my bad. Easter morning is the perfect time though as it was mostly empty and almost no children. There was also some celebrity from Kindigit Design, no idea what that means but there was quite a long line. I’m just posting the ones I thought were standouts.

Black jade Boss 429 with 4 speed sitting next to a real Yenko Camaro.

Someone is stuck in 2000, the car’s name is Michelangelo.

One of the coolest cars was this Hemi powered Bantam

Or this Metropolitan with Toyota 22R power backed by a 5 speed with a Mustang 2 front end.

So many green muscle cars here, real Shelby GTH with a real Yenko Nova.

A CRX ratrod, actually looks kinda fun

There was also this awesome C6RS number 3 of 7. I’m not normally a fan of C6 Corvettes but this is a really special car.

A Mach 1 with a 650 hp 427 and a five speed.

And I will leave you with this abomination.

I find that GT 350H to be HIGHLY SUSPECT to be a real thing, but that Boss 429 is mmmmmmm.

That Boss is perfect and exactly how I would spec it, it was for sure one my favorite cars there. The GT-H is real, its one of about 50 cars that were painted red after they were returned from Hertz, he is one of the few owners to embrace the color. Here is a magazine article of the same car.

I dunno, only payed 50 bucks to watch an actual grandsport race at Laguna few years ago. There is youtube video of bruce canepa racing it, and even spinning out (thankfully no damage).
